What is hms inflexible?

HMS Inflexible was a battlecruiser of the Royal Navy that served during World War I. It was commissioned in 1908 and served as part of the Grand Fleet during the war. Inflexible participated in several engagements during the war, including the Battle of Heligoland Bight and the Battle of Dogger Bank.

In 1915, Inflexible was sent to the Mediterranean as part of the Dardanelles campaign, where it played a key role in the naval bombardment of the Ottoman forts. It also provided cover for the landings at Suvla Bay and was involved in the rescue of survivors from the sinking of HMS Goliath.

After the war, Inflexible underwent several refits and modernization programs before being decommissioned in 1921. It was eventually scrapped in 1926. Inflexible was 567 feet long and had a top speed of 25.5 knots. It was armed with eight 12-inch guns, 12 4-inch guns, four 3-pounder guns, and four 21-inch torpedo tubes.
